YRC Worldwide (NASDAQ: YRCW) was named number one in the transportation category for Security magazine’s 2014 “Security 500” list. For the second year in a row, this top spot has been claimed by YRC Worldwide—a company dedicated to industry best practices and invested in innovative security approaches.
The “Security 500” list, released in the November 2014 edition of the magazine, tracks companies and institutions in 17 vertical markets for the purpose of creating a reliable benchmarking program among security organizations. Rankings are based on a number of factors, including security spending, the number of security officers per employee and per facility, innovative security strategies and peer/customer feedback.
