Effective November 8, 2021, the Yellow companies (Holland, New Penn, Reddaway, and YRC Freight) are implementing a general rate increase (GRI) of 5.9% on base rates for non-contractual shipments in the United States and Canada, however the impact on specific shipments may vary.
This GRI is necessary to offset the economic impact of increased costs and regulations across the transportation industry and support improvements to better service our customers. Yellow prioritizes investments in capacity and service improvements to keep pace in the marketplace, including driver recruitment and training, new equipment and new technology. These investments will allow Yellow to consistently meet our customers’ needs to the highest standard of service.
